For Slade's 1974 film "Flame" we had their outfits made in highly reflective material and I shot them using a front projector, first projecting flames onto them and then these shots with just the light of the projector which created a rather surreal look

Noel Redding who had been in The Experience with Jimi Hendrix formed Fat Mattress in 1969 when he left Jimi and I shot the cover for their only album . Like Jimi Hendrix and Slade Noel was managed by Chas Chandler and after Fat Mattress fell apart he formed the Noel Redding band

After Fat Mattress Noel went on to form the Noel Redding Band and this shot is from the session for the cover of their only album "Clonakilty Cowboys" named after the village in Co. Cork Ireland where Noel lived
